-gvdg. Your rant was unintelligible and added nothing to the conversation. You would have been better off not posting and saving yourself the embarrassment.

It would not surprise me as with all laid off, fired or displaced employees where all are not re-hirable. This is because BOA needed to reduce headcount and manipulate the rules to show you had violated them within a fraction of an inch. Call it good business or untrustworthy executives, HR and managers but it is all the same BS. This have destroyed BOA base and they now need to transplant people from other states state to satisfy current needs. This money poorly spent only reduces stock holders’ equity of return. Look in prior posts of how they manipulate and force employees out "slander"

All the UE info is in your severance package and the rules vary by your state. In most states you have to wait until your severance runs out or if you took a lump sum until the UE office calcs the period of time that is expected to cover. Where I did find BAC's HR falling down was the bridge to retirement info, I called in Mar and they said they would contact me in May before my sev ran out in June and they never did. I called several times and never got a response. It is now September and I am still waiting on COBRA info for benefits. It's not needed since I am working elsewhere and don't need the COBRA but the point is their followup and handling of that process is unacceptable. I bet the regulators would appreciate knowing that if they actually cared enough to do their job.

I did not have any problems whatsoever with unemployment (UE). You have to wait till you're officially severed (your package will state your official separation date), then you can apply for UE online. The it's like clockwork, you certify online every 2 weeks that you were actively seeking employment. I didn't have to call HR once to help me with UE. I live in CA. What state are you in? What are you have trouble with?

Had absolutely no issues with Unemployment or Global Hr after termination. DON'T file until after Severance runs out (or the week before since there's a 1 week waiting period) BofA gave you a package. All of the dates are in there .. just send on to Unemployment with your questionnaire they send you and request you send it back. Be diligent on Sunday filings and looking for a job (4 a week) Good luck

They can't even answer lawsuits filed against them on time so I'm not surprised. They will lie about their mistakes too. Document everything!

All Banks are a joke. I don't trust them and never will. It's ironic I work for them.
