There is talk about a movie to come based on post oil slump family life in rural Texas and Bubba's story would be the perfect place to start. Apparently Clint Eastwood will direct it. I remember one time ol Bubba and me were out hunting and he accidentally shot me in the leg but he was ever so helpful getting me to the hospital and fixed up. I thought I was going to die that day but Bubba never let me down (even though he was the one who shot me) and looked after me and my family until I got back to work.
This is totally devastating news. Bubba was a key mentor in the early stage of my career and thanks to him I progressed to a VP position before being brutally fired myself earlier this year. He was kind and helpful to everybody who knew him and can't believe that HR have done.

Sure going to miss working with Bubba King. One time while Bubba and i was working on a rig in west texas, a rattlesnake bit him, after 5 days of excruciating pain, the snake finally died. Being the shining star that he is he mourned for that poor dead rattler. HR is wrong to let Bubba go just plain wrong. I know he'll do alright and find another job. Good luck Bubba.

Bubba is a jack of all trades.....always demonstrated the qualities of a star employee. HR must have been from out of town. No way local HR would do that to Bubba. Rumor is the execs called a special meeting to strategize a plan to correct this unprecedented mistake. I hope they can do something fast!

WTF makes someone a star employee confused thought we were all star employees, brutally fired in what way was he dragged out beat up and screaming.HR just doing their job for which they get paid for unfortunately Bubba decision to give his life to living the Weatherford dream which no doubt his was well paid to do nobody asked him to eat sleep shit Weatherford quicker he learns workplace loyalty means nothing quicker Bubba can come and join the real world. That said wish him the best like the rest who have gone in finding new employment.
