YES!
I will start a rumor. CWA revenue declined over several years because there is not enough effort in the fight for jobs. Membership is nearly 1/3 of what it once was. Call Center jobs eliminated or off-shore for less pay.
Local CWA will either survive through organizing other businesses or, will close their doors and consolidate because they cannot pay the bills anymore.
DEG does not have as much work as they did 5 years ago. Not much to turn up or maintain now. DEG will be installing DirectTv dishes, copper b-voip, and residential GPON to stay busy.
None is SSIM. They’ll prolly be hiring folks..more bodies needed to hold down the chairs in the office..oops, I mean, we got a lot of work coming down the pipe.
I truly hope so for the people that really want to go! It should be through CWA wide because I know there are techs willing and ready to leave!
None yet, most likely targeted titles again, but doubtful, many positions open on internal hiring site
