Thermo Fisher is cutting a total of 218 jobs at three facilities in San Diego, in the company’s third round of layoffs in California in recent months. The latest cuts at Thermo Fisher take effect June 10, and the company notified the state of its intention to eliminate the positions in April, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification.
