I'd say simply do a search of the top tech companies. all the companies use the same HR policy to ensure they're not being bias or anything: 2 months is standard, with another 3 months added on if you signed the liability waiver. and depending on the "seniority clause - say perhaps you work 10+ years, they might give you a extra week per each additional year after 10". Then they will add on Cobra health benefits and some time of career transition counseling program. by now, all the tech companies are giving the same type of package. this way, Sr leadership team won't feel too bad when you're name comes under the hammer. Company loyalty is yesterday's mantra, it's all about the bottom dollar now.
At Bangalore, it is 5 months plus 1 M notice plus 1 M termination period. total 7 month
I am yet to see a reasonable post with some concrete info here - location, level, amounts, etc.
This really varies between the groups, depends on seniority, etc. It'd be hard to say anything concrete. It also changes with time. Overall, it is getting worse from year to year, so do not expect things to be much better next year. You should not be focusing on severance and focus on finding work and quitting before they let you go. It puts you in so much better position.

I was let go in the big purge of 2001. I received a 4 month full salary severance package, benefits paid etc. Cisco believed that the economy will bounce back quickly and they felt that they needed to send a strong signal to talent that they cared about people, hence a generous payout on the severance side. Some folks were receiving 6 months, so I heard. I moved on since and I am not aware of the amounts that are offered today.
This depends on where you work, different groups have different policies, that example of 1 for 1 below might not be applicable to 'old' Cisco folks

I think the OP was asking for numbers, not an advice if he or she should leave Cisco.
Just leave, do not wait for it. I do not have numbers for you but if you are asking about it you are ready to leave and do it. Cisco is going nowhere, assuming you are located in SJ you'd be better of crossing the street and finding job anywhere else.
I am not sure as I left on my own in 2012. I was disgruntled and hated many management decisions. I suggest that you do the same, do not wait for severance, it's peanuts anyway, you will not get any real money there.
