Every hear Empower files and extension with the IRS and our 1099-Bs don't come out until mid to late March. Much larger brokerages don't seem to have a problem. I would have loved to have finished my taxes and get my refund weeks ago, but can't because Empower can't get their $h.t together.

How do you pay taxes for vested esr wf stock that you sold last year..were taxes cut when those were issued? Or is there gains that needs to be taxed? Does the site used for esr provide a tax document to be used for filing tax
It’s not just Empower. I’ve had the same financial advisor 12 years or so with multiple brokerage firms. I get my 1099’s late Feb every year.
What does Empower do that requires you to delay filing? Deferred?
Our benefits package is chintzy
I file regardless as soon as my W-2 is available in Workday. This year I had to wait until my state's tax return was available in TurboTax, but that was a delay of only about 2 weeks. You can always file an amended return later.
My Federal refund this year was a whopping $5 and about $200 from my state. #partytime

Super annoying, perhaps WF needs to look at a different company for their long term incentive management.
Are you withdrawing from 401k?
I do not get a 1099 but have no withdrawals
