Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Best of the Best?

Just wondering how the best of the best is doing now?
hahah

I think that term made everyone left feel important... those of you left do you feel important now? or just one the road to the unemployment line.

The great part of this story is knowing the people in charge for letting all the talent go are now seeing their fate next friday as the door hits them on their ar-e one last time on their way out ! enjoy my friends

Best of the best were actually the best at smooching but now the best smoochers are next.

No way the best of the best were retains. A truly AWFUL corporate director was left with a job and she’s literally been accused of harassment and abuse.

"The associates is Macys"

Lmfao I've seen bitter people here but you've reached a new low with that one. And you have seriously (actually kinda disturbing) misplaced aggression. The bad grammar is funny but the vibe is scary.

Not bitter against associates nor am I bitter.. i just felt that the people who was in charge of letting the true talent leave the building in 2020 are now on that raft ..

The associates run the store cause i never seen one manager actually manage anything at Macys my whole 8 years with them..

Store Managers are sacks of potatoes. OOM a bag of straw, AP think they are the FBI.
captains are just kiss a$$ till they are fired or promoted.
Im just glad that one person from the district team who used to work as OOM got the boot and thats a long time coming...

Im just calling it out as i see it..
The associates is Macys

The toxic environment of Macy's has allways protected the political associates who know how to play the Macy's game.
The favorites will remain no matter how little work they do.
Macy's management loves to have their bo--y's smooched.
The people who were laid off are the lucky ones to get out of this environment.
Macy's is on the same couse as Sears and will end up in the retail graveyard as well.
You will find a better career outside of Macy's. All the best to you.

To the original poster: Look up the definition of "small" in the dictionary. Those of us who are still employed by Macy's didn't hire ourselves, nor did we fire those who lost their jobs. Please move on in life- your trajectory isn't healthy.

Your animosity is misdirected. I hope you find happiness in the future and an attitude that increases your viability.

Why are you so bitter against the associates who remained? That's really sad. You need help.
