No feckin shame, the shame lies with imelt and Comstock etc. You can hold your head high and say I'd did a good job. You are better out of GE for the last 10 years it has got worse not better. More pain to come 2018, 2019, 2020 at the very least.

The irony is that those leaving will be better off in the long run than those remaining. Short term will be rough...stress, pain, shame, and worst of all, hopelessness. Best advice I ever got about losing my job was to allow myself to be angry, grieve, feel whatever it is inside and let it come out. Only then will you let it go and move on in a healthy way. I’d recommend taking a month or so to reflect and rejuvenate before starting new interviews. Good luck to all.
