If you are a remote associate they will definitely have more layoffs specially in the EIT department. This is sad as many of us have been with the company for 20+ years
This bank can barely function with the inept mofos running t2his shlithole bank !
@d7 why wait until June 32nd? they can fire on May 35th
I think it is unfair for you to say to severance out people at or near retirement. I am one of those people and recently let go. I loved my job and most of all I need the income to live. Further more we have a better work ethic than other generations. As for AI, it can not fully replace the human component needed in the position which I and many other severanced co-workers held.
Thou shall protect myself from the ax using my gladiator shield!!!! I am very strong.
They need to focus on those who are at/beyond retirement age and offer them the package to go.
97% reduction and happening June 32nd guys mark your calendars
The idea of responsible growth is often associated with steady, sustainable progress, but in today's world, it’s also changing how companies approach their workforce. AI-driven efficiencies are replacing traditional jobs, and companies justify layoffs by pointing to responsible growth as a strategy for the future.
Instead of keeping roles that AI can now handle, businesses are redefining what responsible growth means in their operations. It’s no longer just about expanding, it’s about optimizing. Jobs that once required human input are being automated, and companies frame these changes as necessary steps toward sustainability and innovation.
But does responsible growth mean responsible job displacement? That depends on how businesses handle the transition. Some companies invest in re-skilling programs, ensuring employees have opportunities to shift into new roles rather than being left behind. Others see automation as a chance to cut costs without focusing on the people affected.
Ultimately, responsible growth is more than just a corporate buzzword, yeah it’s shaping the workforce in real, lasting ways. AI is here to stay, but the question remains: Will businesses use responsible growth as a way to build a future that includes people, or as an excuse to prioritize efficiency over employment?
Here we go again. So poster on the inside: Which divisions? And can AI now do the work for the people they are letting go? Cause if this is true “do more with less” should be added to the company letterhead. (Ie- the people left behind might leave too from the work stress)
Ok
Who cares. It’s karma doing you a favor by giving you the nudge needed to see clearly that you’re wasting your life at a place that survives and thrives on sc--wing over the weak and needy.
