New CISO, Rich Bi---h (or whatever his name is) is on the rampage about people not doing their jobs and doing too much "personal work" on their work computers. It will be done under the guise of "security," but it's a farce to get people to stop checking personal email on their work computers. Life at AT&T becomes even more hellish.

I check personal email maybe once a month. People still use emails?
“I just do all my personal stuff on my phone while I’m at work.”
Keystroke rates are also able to be captured on corporate assets to determine productivity.
Only an id--t would use their work computer for personal business.

How are they going to block it?
Are they blocking the apps?
If so, then are they also blocking the sites?
If so, is it only on vpn and internal?
If so, you can just use a hotspot when you want to check (when you’re at office) or just get off vpn.
They don’t really have any other way to block these services.
Lots of developers and employees have legitimate uses for Google (such as Google doc API’s for calendars and other things that some libraries require)
This is a really weird hill to die on considering we all have cell phones, I just do all my personal stuff on my phone while I’m at work.
