Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Vaccination Requirement

Just last week we were told that vaccinations will not be required at this time. Yesterday, when attempting to book travel through Concur, it informed team members that the vaccination was required in order to book hotel (flights and rental cars included). In order to move forward with the booking, one has to attest to the fact they've been vaccinated. If a WF employee is not vaccinated, he/she is no longer able to travel for their job. This totally contradicts what was said just last week on the corporate call.

New jab or new job.

You decide.

@bhb+1dCMqPWn Yup, that’s just a trick to make it seem like the freedumb crowd are the enlightened ones in the middle, when in reality leaving it up to individual choice is essentially just what the antivaxers want and has led to the this still dragging on.

They also love pulling the trick of “I got the shot (they never want to acknowledge it being an actual vaccine), BUT…” to pretend that they’re skeptics on our side just asking questions. It helps when you realize they are almost never arguing from a place of good faith.

Someone here said they respect your decision to get vaxxed or to not get vaxxed.

To be clear, not getting vaxxed is a bad idea and I do not respect people with bad ideas.

We'd still be dying from smallpox if these people had their way.

The flu shot is a vaccine. What are you talking about?

Vaccine - noun - a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease.

"Logic dude, logic"....I hope you're not in a position that involves communicating with our customers and/or business clients. They deserve better than to be spoken to in that way.

Do you by chance know when it was communicated that vaccinations are required for travel? As of Friday, October 29th, travel was still able to be booked and no attestation was required. The concur announcement yesterday stated it became effective November 1st.

To clarify, I respect whatever choice one makes regarding being vaxxed or not. This is about being honest and speaking the truth to the employees. As employees, we are expected to act with integrity, morals, and character. The same should be required of leadership. The new travel policy was never once announced. Employees stumbled upon the requirement yesterday when they went to book their travel. Again, this is not about being vaxxed or not....it's about honesty.
