Just heard from ED that GNT will be having a RIF of 10%. Decision by next week. All backfills closing, travel halted. OPEX being slashed. 1Q23 not looking good.

All lies. They can’t touch the GNT groups. Thet are more important than anything else because they are the backbone of the network.
You could lose 2 people per team and no one would notice. Most of the work is done at the HQ level. Once FuzE is more stable, it will replace the rest.
Honestly look at your team. These WFHabusers, the aging workforce that can't figure out Slack. Engineers that you can never get on the phone during working hours.
Network assurance that is home by 2pm everyday
Project Managers that run calls that should just be a googlesheet.

They cut like ~600 jobs in GNT in the fall so if they're doing 10% they're going to annihilate a lot of people.
