Do not take that post serious. He or She is a Troll with the wrong information. No call, No conf call, No direction from any MHRM or Regional.

So you contradicted yourself. Is PCTC eliminated or is it reduced to one position? Is this one position a salaried position that one must apply for? Are there any more details you can speak of?

Had conference call with market HR today PC/TC job elimination will take place within

Next two months. Eleminated to one job. Must reapply if interested in salaried postion. Regional selection will take place internal/external if interested in position. Job description will be different . 99% sure severance package will be offered. If interested apply for any current jobs posted in store. Store manager didn't know that this would be announced on hourly weekly mhrm call. Market human resource managers are required to attend year beginning meeting for deatail.

I find it rather sad that people think all an office associate does is sit on their butt. Personnel has to do way more than sit on their butts. At least in our store ours interact with the associates on the salesfloor, complete daily, weekly, and monthly task. TC also plays a major part in training and development. This is a sad direction this company is taking. All they are doing is getting rid of seasoned employees for lesser pay. All to benefit the people in charge. Come in destroy the smaller businesses and now put the people who worked their completely out. The managers do rely on Personnel more than anyone thinks and most could do the assistants job. Some just can not at the moment due to personal obligations.

The idea has come up again concerning the PC and TC position in personnel as of August 2018. They both need their jobs. They work as a team, both make the store work. One looks for employees the other trains. Why try to fix what’s not broken.

IF you think that is all the PC does that proves that you have no idea what is going on in this company. You are so out of the loop.

They should get rid of the training coordinator, that leaves 2 people in an office where they mostly sit on their butt all day. I think the personnel manager can more than handle settting up interviews and the like, matter of fact, since all of walmart applications are done on line now, the assistant supervisors should be the ones doing this job, the more people we can get out to the floor to throw freight the better.
