My walmart manager showed me that he can order all our products now. It's in their ordering system. Same as Keebler items are now. He scanned other vendors and their items aren't in his system at all to order. Seems like something is going to happen soon. Are we going to lose our jobs?

DSD is the reason we don't make money in N.A. It's an expensive relic from the past. Unless your all willing to take a substantial pay cut. Think of it as you would think of coal for a primary energy source. I looked at the numbers, sales down, revenue down. Can no longer compete when our cookies are the most expensive. Chop of the long tail of DSD,as Dirk called it, and our profits will increase.

I had a Walmart manager ask me if the Oreos we're coming in on our truck or their truck now. Must be switching over soon
Who cares what they do. Just keep doing your job to make it more difficult for them to make that decision. I will continue to come to work until they take my key card away I'm not going to worry about anything that is out of my control.

We're going CAO in April according to the sales rally meeting.

Mondelez claims to be committed to DSD, customers are NOT! Since they get to decide, guess what? They have the right to order from anyone they choose! They want the cheapest route to maximize profits for themselves, and it is without DSD!

Keebler reps had incentives that allowed most reps to keep company cars. If your lease ran out they needed to return, this is nothing new.
Lease plan is probably up on the current car.
They'll probably have to return them in April most likely.

Yes. It's true. Keebler is leaving DSD in August ...in all accounts. Walmart us ahead if the game. Mondelez will follow suit in April of next year. I am a former Sales Rep for Mondelez (22 years) International and I still keep in touch with Co workers.
