Has anyone in UK who applied for VR that closed on 3rd August heard anything back yet ?

Most people who had not received word back got the official answer today. For most staff this appears to have been the news that they will not be getting VR, but that the company may contact them again in the future, or not. Also there is no appeals process. Unsurprisingly the whole thing has been handled exceptionally badly for any staff who were brave enough to apply and try to manage their departure in their own terms.
Figures being mentioned by some folk are that they were looking to reduce UK&I by around 800, they had around 370 applications and only around 70 were approved. Expect there to be lots of Compulsory Redundancy processes starting in the next few weeks to meet the original number.
What a bloody fiasco DXC really is...what a load of crap. Glad I took VR from CSC UK last February. F*ck them! This is a company in turmoil and don't take any notice of the share increase...it won't last!
Rumours were that they were looking to cut 800 staff in UK&I. Haven't heard from anyone yet who has actually applied and managed to be approved. Strange when you have people wanting to go and are needing to cut heads that you can't just make a decision before you have to move to compulsory redundancies.
Two people I know took VR and leave on the 31st Aug. In London.
What were the roles that got VR (just like a general idea such as service desk, DBA, architect etc). ?
Some on my floor plate have been told they have got VR. I didn't :(
There was a note that went out today saying the process was delayed and it would be 24th August before people would be notified. Termination date moved to end September.
Believe they are suppose to contact you through your staff manager on the 14th or 15th of August. But not sure if that is to only inform you that you have got VR, if you don't hear anything take it that you haven't.
