This is what I got today.
Operations leadership conducted an extensive talent review of most managers across the organization. Based on the results of the talent review, you were not selected for a position with Sam's Club.

I'm that APM and I honestly don't know. The preferred qualifications were not shared with us. The conversations were very scripted and vague.
To the APM who posted they were displaced yesterday, I am so very sorry for the situation you are in. Best wishes for a future, whether it be with or outside of Sam’s, that allows you to do what you love. As a curious manager I wonder if you would share the criteria used for managers to qualify for a position.
I was told the same thing in a face to face meeting yesterday. I was an APM and had been with the company just under 5 years. Yes, I got the 60 days. Yes, I can apply for open positions. Yes, I can receive a severance. But it was all very suddenly done. My GM and Co mgr were also let go.
Sorry to hear that, hope things turn out for you finding new work. Our club is on list for Wednesday to see who or what everyone may be assigned to or who will be displaced. It is certainly hard for us all to see a lot of good people go especially when you have worked with them for many years.
Still get severance and bonus. Have 60 days to find new position. If you had more than 2 coaching you will be displaced.
What was your position? APM, AM, FAM, CM, or merch op??
Was this considered a layoff or firing?
Qualify for severance, this past years bonus?
Do you still get a bonus?
So they have you 60 days to find a position in the company? Did they talk about severance with you?
Severance???? Or termination???
That's rough man, sorry.
God bless...
