Shelves empty

Keebler product empty in stores, stores don’t care about them. Kellogg reps no where to be seen! Nabisco is everywhere for the holiday weekend! DSD is KING!

"when u can pick up a phone and get mandated displays and volume"

Dosen't mean anything if no one puts those displays up or if I get them taken down for my stuff

I've seen store send a pallet of club and town house back because they still had most of the last pallet they sent in.

Guess what with that pen and phone means more is coming in at retail when u can pick up a phone and get mandated displays and volume you’re winning who cares if nabisco picks up a few wing stacks here and their your just doing the stores work. Once again better pricing and lower overhead beats nabisco everyday

I took down 3 Keebler displays yesterday and replaced with Nabisco. I try and target 5 a week. Keebler trolls better get on the phone and try and get them back. See how that works for you. If every Rep does this Keebler will have to buy extra minutes on there phones. 😜

How is it CAOs fault if the grocery manager orders the product himself for his end caps and gets nothing?

DSD is King!!! We're the 👑 of snack food! We're too big! Warehouses can't handle our volume. Nabisco refused to pay the 1500 dollar slotting fee for every SKU. Looks like you're stuck at Mondelez! Maybe if you're so bitter find a new job😂

FYI, stores that allegedly aren’t getting the Keebler product and thus ask you to fill, they just have a worthless GM that doesn’t understand CAO. That’s gonna happen, CAO still needs to be adjusted. WM with Mondelez, some of the fastest selling produce CAO has not replenished a single one. Almost 20 years with nabisco and CAO is literally the time I’ve run out in the shelf of Oreo and ds!

Your cheap labor, the GM will use you to cover his mistakes, until the zone manager sees it. Then they’ll fix him and poof, your displays are gone. This won’t stop 2700 stores from moving forward with warehouse, way too much lost revenue for retailers! The few stores with GM’s that don’t get, won’t survive. They are union though so they DO have someone covering their butt, unlike you or the person who keeps posting,”I asked my DM and he said we’re all good, dsd is king and we are staying”.

Haha, we will see. Make all you can now before it’s over, all you can do!

Elves are still bitter on here!

Nabisco won't leave DSD like the elves did!

Nabisco refused to pay the slotting fees I was told by a Kroger manager.

He said that Nabisco is staying in DSD. Get over it elves. We have power brands to stay in the game

Nabisco is setup differently than Kelloggs.

There's no comparison.

We have power brand's.

All they have are Cheeze it's.

Store's won't and can't handle our volume.

Nabisco is committed to DSD.

We're not going away from DSD

Keebler handing off dsd to master distributors. They get all the benefit of dsd, merchandising & delivery but no overhead. The future for nabisco as well.

Phone call dude is partially right. There is an increasing level of sales generated at the corporate level. Keebler eliminated alot of operating expense so their prices are much more consumer friendly. Their profit margin is better than ours. Thats what matters. Example, they sell a cookie and make $.50 profit. With all our added overhead we make $.10 profit. See how that works? Who cares how many pieces of cardboard we have at the end of the isle. Sounds like 3rd graders on the playground. My hands are bigger than yours!. Oh, and you slow thinking people are not sales associates, your just a glorified order writer with no business sense.

Once again the person below lives in a fly over state will never understand that picking up a phone with better pricing and mandated display with less overhead coast to coast is winning and is killing nabisco everyday keep your wing stack meanwhile Kellogg volume goes up everyday their on the phone with less overhead and better pricing. Nabisco is done with dsd can’t compete with Kellogg on so many levels the game over dsd is dead soon for nabisco

Where is Kelloggs hiring merchandisers? In my area they laid off more elves!

by

Post ID: @2aoo+TUD6zHt

If mandated displays work why is kelloggs hireing merchandisers to make sure there shevles are even getting filled? Let alone displays?

And that side stack of nabisco you talk of is 3 pallets, 6 hutches, and 4 other minis compared to keblers 1 pallet and 2 shippers, yep there killing out there with there one pallet of cheese itz lol

Dirk's vision to be revealed in September.

DSD will be ending.

My guess is Q1 2019.

Lot's of incentives will be offered to sell for the Holiday's and to keep you here till the finish line

The person below lives in. a fly over state doesn’t understand the concept of mandated display and by picking up a phone Kellogg out execute nabisco all day better pricing lower overhead and display mandated from coast to coast keep your little side stack display nabisco getting beat everyday by kellogg

WHen u have corporate mandated pallet buys at retail your winining who cares if the nabisco rep got 2 shelves on and cap for a display everywhere the power of picking up a phone and getting mandated display coast to coast is more effective and less expensive for kellogg once again Kellogg beats nabisco on price and executiion just be picking up the phone anything the Kellogg rep does is just added value their no way nabisco stays in dsd they re getting killed at retail by Kellogg who has less over head

"mandated display at retail"

That's laughable I have seen that 1st hand kelloggs rep comes in and it goes up, then comes down 2-3 days later, my displays not being mandatory are pretty much up 365 days a year

Tell me how this picking up a phone works? I'm in stores dropping stacks of ritz and putting up hutches left and right where kebler displays used to go back when they where out here. I'm at about 8 to 1 ratio with them on displays. I have product for days, they can't get the stuff in from the warehouse.

They have not figured it out yet why would we join them? We will be cutting more costs like cars and less reps but you can't beat having someone in the store. Even kelloggs knows this that's why they are hiring more merchandisers

2018 is the last year of Irene's restructuring plan. Now Dirk will be setting his agenda/ vision that will be coming on line end of the year. I just got back from doing a little shopping. Large retailer where I'm at. Don't recall seeing so much keebler product. Then again never really paid attention. The deals they were pushing are waaaaaaaaay better than ours. If I were the type of person to eat that kind of thing, I would be saving alot of money buying the keebler. It's either change with the times or become irrelevant.

Shareholders won't allow DSD to exist for 2 more year's.

Dsd will be here at least a couple more years, kelloggs is only getting warehouse right in a couple of chains mainly only one that own there own warehouses which is only a couple of the big guys, every where else like the big regional guys are still more then 50% of the business out there

Kellogels can't keep the shelves full and they have to have merchandisers go out and fill things up now. Stores dont want to touch the stuff and we are like 3x there volume. I start worrying when kelloggs has it all figured out until then I think we are fine

Bottom line Kellogg gets more done with a pen than nabisco does in a day. When u can dictate pricing with little to no overhead it’s a win every time. Who cares if the nabisco rep got a few display here and their that added cost where as Kellogg can pick up a phone and out execute nabisco every day dsd is dead don’t listen to the fools who think dsd is staying game over soon

What are you smoking!!! Keebler displays everywhere around here!! Better profit margin. Store's don't want to deal with Nabisco or vendor's. Store's are taking DSD back one by one. We're next!!

That where Kellogg been beating nabisco less overhead better pricing and mandated displays with little labor involved their no way nabisco stays in dsd they re getting beat at retail by Kellogg the game over dsd will soon be over

And the crappy part is even with all the layoffs, outsourcing, factories to mexico our U.S. numbers are still down. It's third grade math. Example.... We make a cookie for a $1.50. and sell it for $2.00. Assume we get a cost of living raise, now the profit is down to $.45. Insurance for health and vehicles went up again as it always does. Now we're down to $.38. Commodities and fuel also went up. Ok, now it's $.32. Oh, and don't forget our competitors don't have all the overhead we have so theirs are cheaper. Now we have to lower the price even more just to stay somewhat competitive. Now we are at $.26. And lets say customer used to buy 1000 of them but because people are becoming more health conscious they are only buying 800. See how easy it is? Right now we're doing pretty good over sea's but not so much here.
