Why. Not fire everyone, close stores and start all over again, but not with the name Walmart. THIS IS NOT THE SAME WALMART THAT SAM WALTON STARTED. HIS THREE VALUES NO LONGER EXIST. THE CUSTOMER IS NO LONGER FIRST..... THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL.....THERE IS NO STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE. So sad.....so very sad.

In the world of technology nobody should have to drive an hour or hour and a half to the academy. We had the Spark Meeting using technology right there in our store.

People are in denial and have an overblown sense of importance to this company. Trying to desperately justify their purpose thinking it’s somehow going to save them.

There isn’t a single associate working in any store that can’t be replaced or outsourced. The world will not. One to an end when Personnel is gone.

That’s what CBL‘s are for!

They don’t need people for that, just a simple check in from an assistant. There is way too many managers crawling around one store they have too much time on their hands !

Our Academy service at least 2 Markets right now. They expect applicants to drive 1 1/2 hours away to be orientated? I don’t think so.

When CMI calls the stores they ask for personnel first to get timely and accurate information. AP is out of the building so much due to MAPM's having them in other stores and going to court. Personnel has to due the work of getting the documents filled out correctly by management too. Then, personnel has to fax and mail all of the documents so CMI gets them on time. Management has PC's complete the OSHA 300 log also as they keep the accident files up to date with work status reports. That is why they are copied on all the CMI emails to ensure stuff gets done on time.

Management has associates fill out hours adjustment forms and take them to personnel to key after they call off and want PTO. If they just entered it systematically they would most likely not get approved by management before the end of the pay period. Kind of like time off requests do not get approved/denied timely unless PC's drive this with management.

Personnel give the employment verification service information to the associates and parties seeking this information. I have no knowledge of any associate who has this number or the employer code without coming to personnel to get it.

LOA's and ADA's are out of control in stores. That is why personnel is copied on these emails with the store manager as we are the ones who send out the attached letter's and documentation and take care of the "Action Required". Do you really think the Store Manger is going to have time to do this in the required time-frame?

UMX0oDN-2jru Your AP should be talking to CMI. You should not be doing Time sheets for anyone, other than those that can not return to work to do it themselves. Employment verification is the assoc. responsibility and has access to the number. These task are obsolete. Unless the LOA and ADA are out of control in your store, it is manageable weekly not daily, and even then it is not enough daily. Management has all or should have all conversations with assoc. concerning this.

I can do and had to do all availability changes for everyone in the store under Schedule Right. I just cannot edit schedules. Only have view mode. The only glimmer of hope is that I still screen applicants, setup interviews and conduct job offers. They also spent a bunch of money sending everyone to a pc/tc summit this summer. Also, was sent a new personnel PC with Microsoft office. Also, still handle all of the unemployment claims. Deal with all of the LOA/ADA requests and follow up letters. Spend time dealing with folks who cannot navigate pathways or update their career preference on the wire or view their schedule. Amazing how many people still cannot understand how to use technology to request days off and print pay stubs. I try to teach them and have to hold back not taking the mouse out of their hands and doing it for them. Phone rings all day with phone calls from applicants, CMI for accidents, employment verification. Not to mention the 10+ hours adjustment forms a day that I need to key in for people using PTO after calling off. Seriously have a full day everyday. I do so many things that go unseen for associates that management does not have time or does not know how to do to keep associates happy. The line I get most is I was told by my coworkers that I should see you if I have an issue because you are the only one who knows what they are doing and will take the time to help me.

All I have read says it's going away. They won't tell you the truth. We can't do schedules ,availability changes, it's phasing us out

I am also a PC, I have been told I will be the main one handling the new schedule right......yet I will not be able to get into it. ( told by HR market manager and market manager) also been told....no your job is not going away if anything more will be added to it. I don’t believe anybody anymore, just wish they would go ahead and tell us the truth. Rumors have been from going away to going salary......so who the hell knows what to believe. Somebody knows the real truth,just waiting for Go to tell us. I read lots of comments on here, saying this is the truth. How do you know the truth? Where have you received this “truth “ from? We just need the real truth and no BS........

I am a PC and cannot edit schedules under the new schedule right. It says I am view only mode. Maybe that is due to position going away. I am the one who has to add new hires to the schedule after orientation. Also, could not take someone off schedule who put 2 weeks notice. No manager will get around to doing these things. It will be chaos.
