Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Hours explanation

45-50k FS. Open 8-10. Truck comes 4-5am. Usually get 8 pallets or more. 2017 & 2018 got around 233-238 a week.

Now 200-204 a week.

Same workload if not more with stupid hub tasks.

So cvs expects the same exact work to get done taking about 15% of the hours away.

Not happening. 1 person to put away almost 4 pallets of totes while ringing backup every 10mins.

Planograms, cfr, 30 min breaks in between.

So my visit goes like this with the DL....takes 2.5-3 days for truck. Will not complete cfr every week and planograms will always be late. And I won't work an hour over 45 and will take all my breaks.

He says: sounds fair....lmfao

I wonder if these people who create our budgets have ever worked a day in the store before. They have never had to juggle helping an old non English speaking Russian grandma try to send money for the first time while trying to take a bunch of passport photos for 2 year olds who don’t stay still and pharmacy calling you for back up with 1 high school aged cashier is ringing out an extreme couponer next to you with a line of p-ss-d off people looking at you. If you work at CVS, you know this is a typical day in our stores. CVS s---s because our corporate leaders have no idea what it’s like to actually work in the environment they create.

QA Budgets were cut to just 15% of the project total. The "we care" company ONLY cares about $$$. Not quality or patient safety. They use unqualified cheap off shore labor. Slavery is alive and well at CVSHealth, it just called H1B VISA now.

I highly recommend not getting your pr-scrip-ions at CVS. I dont know if other pharmacies IT QA departments are this badly run or not but I don't use CVS pharmacy because I work in IT QA department and know first hand the poor quality of the pharmacy software. Danger!

Yes we are required to be on calls and clock ourselfs in on workbrain for how long the call was. California labor board is currently suing them for not paying employees for duties like conference calls, driving to meetings, going to the bank, picking up or borrowing store supplies, etc. If thr DL calls us on our day off we are supposed to record the time accurately, only downside is we are still held to our labor budget. Accountability for stores who overspend 2 weeks in a row. Most California stores look horrible. Im in northen CA most stores posting 75-200k shrink, no help in sight and no plans to reduce it ORC is intense. California is cvs worst nightmare when it comes to FS. RX kills it though, most stores doing 1500-2500 rx weekly

I wish the entire company had hourly SM's. The DL and RD expect the manager to work well above and beyond their 45 where I'm from.

My hours were cut in accordance to you guys.

The job is just about impossible now. We lost 3 DL's in our Region over the past 6 months. And I believe the one we have now is on his way out.

You have to just about kill yourself to get the job done with the hours we get now. Place is miserable and a good bunch of the Managers in the district are looking for new jobs as well as myself.

Only going to get worse so why stick around at a place that is the absolute worst place for retail managers.

Sounds about right. 250 hours California STL

(Hourly sm) 60-65k weekly. My hours are included in the weekly budget and if we work off the clock we get fired and if we overspend we get wrote up, so not a min over 45 hours for me. 10-13 pallets. Barely treading above water. Cvs runs fs as lean as possible purposely. Once the Aenta numbers start rolling in FS will only be responsible for less than 10% of overall revenue. Going to be interesting year thats forsure
