Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Steamed!

One degree?!! It’s my fault we’re not great??!!

Increase in Water's Boiling Point as Boiler Gauge Pressure Increases1

Steam Boiler PSI 0 psi = 1 ATM 0.31 psi 0.5 -1.1 psi 1.2 - 1.31 psi 3.31 psi 5.31 psi 9.31 psi 15.1 - 15.31 psi 25.31 psi 31.31 psi 41.31 psi

Water Boiling Point 212 °F 213 °F 214.5 °F 216 °F 222 °F 228 °F 238 °F

As pressure needed for steam power to be useful are attained, the temperature in all cases exceeds 212 degrees.

Maybe a COMMON SENSE COLLEGE DEGREE would be a good idea Marv.

Marv can claim we need more power all he wants, what we need is traction.

Not possible since he’s greased the rails with bodies during recent employee layoffs.

They never appreciate the employees. They only talk to you if you supposedly did something wrong. Poor management from top down and they blame the little people who are not responsible for the decisions. All we do is try to care for the customer and work hard for what. They still get their big bonuses and we get nothing but constant fear of losing our jobs.

I really thought Niblock was the reason for all the dysfunction of this Enterprise. With Marv and Joe now at the helm, I stand corrected. WTF?

Thats a good store meeting message, blame the staff.to their face while wearing orange shoes.

Holly sh--, what happened to this company? The store I use to be in was hard enough at full staff, but when they cut staff there were people having literal break downs from being overwhelmed. People were pulled in 4 different directions at the same time. But I guess they just needed to work harder.

In the vacuum of Mooresville, water boils away by itself.

I've noticed that when corporate objectives are not met, they have "reasons", when the rank and file does not meet managements lofty expectations , they are "excuses". What a load of organic mulch!!

Every year corporate plans for 10% more than year before. And every year they cut staff, payroll, and budgets. NOW THEY WANT MORE!!! Total BS.

This is Lowes we’re talking about.

If we achieve goals or beat them at the store, district, region, and/or the corporate level it is because of the leadership.

If we FAIL to achieve goals at any level it is because the employees didn’t do enough.
