Anyone else find the lowedown to be condescending and unrealistic? The dog and pony act is the same every week. New ridiculous goals are the only difference. This is supposed to be our marching orders for the week, yet has become a 45 minute joke every week. I am not motivated or inspired by this broadcast and am in fact offended by the tone and the arrogance of the presentation. Please keep doing a broadcast, but make it a business meeting like it's supposed to be, and not a 45 minute ego fest which it's become.

The only word that best describes them is Carni people! P.T. Barnham would be proud. I have heard stores buying products of the week just to make sure they aren't on the 0 sale list. No real direction and when they say it is all about serving the customer and then making payroll 98 percent? Those two statements are not going the same direction! First time I can remember cutting hours during the 100 days.
Anyone with half a brain knows how abysmally bad every area of operations are. Every employee is looking to leave, no one cares, the goals are unreasonable and certifiably inane, corporate ghas no clue whats going on, they are cutting hours in the 100 days, we have NO seasonal hires, and hell, we're just a 45 million store so.. who really cares if we drop to a 35 million?
It s---s on every level, and every management level gets dumber and dumber and more unethical as you climb that ladder.
Marvin and all the brass, including the most brain dead of the lot - the District Managers , aka dogs of war - can all drop dead! They care more about customer surveys, and "image" rather than sales and reality. They sacrifice whats important for their childish, irrational wants of tyhe moment.
Lowes is a sinking ship and the stock will crash eventually.. Marvin and co keeps artificially boosting it with cuts cust and closures .. but eventually their imcompetence will be too much, and they will not be able to trim what they deem fat off the lowes bone any longer.
Yesterday we had customerds CSREAMING in aisles. Its been going on all week. Its happening now, and they care not to see it. Fkk em! Let it all fail. I am. Im done.
Our store manager is just like those guys it’s so pathetic, he talks and goes along like they can hear him. He tells us it’s time to watch “General Joe” and when they show the stores that didn’t sell any of the product of the week he’ll be like “OH STORE 1234 JUST GOT CALLED OUT! BOO-YAH!” It’s so weird cause he’s like 51. Everything they say is treated like gospel he goes over the whole thing after and we gotta go over it and see how we can make our store more like “General Joe” would want. I hate the stupid “fun fund” thing too. Give all that money to the employee not a sliver to the employee and the rest to the store, that is such a load of BS. I hate how they talk down to us like why are all poor and stupid mo--ns. It really is the personification as well as Marvin’s podcast off all that’s wrong and the disconnect between corporate and the stores
It is the clown show that department supervisors/asm’s/ store managers are forced to watch prior to the meeting every Monday.

It’s absolutely pathetic. The 2 hosts are all “hey team, let’s fist bump, make corny jokes, bring on terrible public speakers, set unrealistic goals on products, and overall act like Lowe’s is doing great”...
Meanwhile, in the stores, morale is the lowest it has ever been, customer service is horrific, safety is concerning due to the amount of product they are packing into stores, and even the cheerleaders of Lowe’s are seeking employment elsewhere.
Don’t let the stock prices fool you, they certainly don’t reflect the condition of the stores or feelings of the employees.
It’s bad... real bad.. and Marvin and his posse don’t care in the least bit.
