Unethical behavior

Is it consider unethical if an associate whose job was eliminated , was currently job coded as something higher up the food chain ,by the GM , in order to keep their pay? Just wondering if this is considered unethical or if its just a case of "who you kniow" and would HO even really care?

I am watching this type of unethical behavior for years in our club. Managers have their favorites. When a Marketing Team Lead stepped down voluntarily, there were no FT spots, however her manager made sure she got FT at the membership desk. Now she has been fast tracked into a MSS spot. When the current Marketing Team Lead was told her job was going away, she also was fast tracked in an MSS spot. Those openings were not made available to anyone else in the club. Very unfair. When the advantage coordinator (who apparently is losing her job) asked about being able to move to membership FT, she was told there were no FT spots, guess she is not one of the favorites. Very unfair treatment. And don't even get me started on the so called block scheduling....people are being given special treatment, special hours.

Unethical?? Sam's club doesn't even know what that means anymore let alone even being able to recognize those who behave unethically. Regional GM's, MM's CM's it's a just a part of what they do now.
