Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

What Happened?

Every time there's a layoff, the remaining employees, in a fit of rock-throwing hubris, claim that those who were fired deserved it, and those who remain are the "cream of the crop" and can now get down to business. Well, at $1.58 per share, it now seems the "crop" ain't doing so well...

The sh– sandwich comment reminded me of something an old Colonel told me when I separated from the military as a Captain. I felt bad I was leaving for a higher paying civilian job. He said Captain remember life is a sh– sandwich. The more bread you make the easier to swallow. I wish CHK would get busy baking
