SLT has issued the following notification:
We are going to be implementing a CAO NO TOUCH requirement that will take effect in the tablet Mon 7/22 and will begin to impact orders starting Wed. 7/24.
Sales Reps/FTOW’s will not be able to sync any WM orders as the CAO orders will be locked and flow thru directly. Orders will show up as locked in the EDI section of the tablet (see below screenshot). Reps will not be able to add any qty’s above and beyond the WM CAO order.
Inventory correction is a critical component to getting the system to reflect the correct inventory levels and thus result in more productive orders. Easier said than done, but any and all support to correct inventory levels at store level is an important component to this.
I know this creates a lot of questions and at this point we have no direct answers other than this direct quote from Eric:
“Work with store personnel to maintain in store conditions as best possible while protecting displays with merchandising and remedy tickets… save LABOR by refocusing the "O" on OH inventory and/or removing order writers from daily schedules completely.”
With that being said, I need everyone to complete their VOLT certification before starting any Walmart service calls on Monday. If you have any issues, I will be on standby to assist.
This week everyone will have mandatory conversation(s) with key store management, and utilize our ‘O’ time in store to work closely with Dept. Managers to update on hand quantities and open remedy tickets on critical items and issues both internally and externally.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
