Your arrogance and ignorance over what Oxy is and their track record / reputation would probably make you a good fit for working there. Maybe you can add to there incident or fatality rate that they are so proud of on these boards.
1cq is not an Oxy employee. Longtime APC/Kerr McGee employee with nothing to be ashamed of, only speaking to the changes witness in APC over the years that got them to the position of being an M&A target. Personally I look forward to an opportunity to work with/at Oxy. Things at APC needed to change.

Obviously more cutting edge doesn't equal more efficient at getting oil out of the ground. It's O&G, not Silicon Valley...stick to what you know and do well. Or else, be acquired by those who do.
