ADP has sold DC1 and DC2 to Landmark Dividend, they will be taking ownership on November 1 and complete takeover of both facilities on February 1, 2019. Maintenance will be done by BSC-FM, they will not retain any of the maintenance staff currently working there, they plan on hiring their own people. On the IT side, ADP will lease the building back with their current staff, rumor has it, after the transition they may replace them with lower paid people.

Ain’t done yet, both data centers are a train wreck right now, BSC FM took over maintenance at both sites, doesn’t that say enough? I work on a colo site in Texas, they were the worst facility management team I’ve ever seen!!
"DC" stands for Data Center. DC1 is in the Atlanta area. DC2 is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Processing was originally done at DC1 with DC2 being a backup for DC1, but now processing is also done at DC2.
The reason that DC2 was put in South Dakota is because that part of the country has the fewest natural disasters in the country. Tornados are the greatest risk so DC2 was built to withstand them. I've seen it. I think that it really is tornado proof.
Data Center 1 & Data Center 2. Housed all the storage and LAN hardware for the various B/U’s. One in Georgia another in South Dakota.
What is DC1 and DC2, and also where is that?
Takeover is on February 1, 2020.
That’s been rumored to occur for awhile. I’m sure the cost to build and maintain were enormous. When they opened it was their pride and joy, they are impressive facilities albeit large, large facilities.
