You think it has gone down? When was it performing well? The HR team enabled some very questionable things to go on with regard to nepotism and the way they released some folks. Yes they may have been just inside the lines but far from ethical.

That is just on the HR side, if you look at recruiters they have been using for years its a joke. When I was there and had opened a position in one of my groups they did as little as possible in screening applicants, essentially just took the first 40, selected about 12 from that lot and said here you go - it was a waste of time. Add to that, since leaving I have been contacted about a half dozen times for a position with them, when I point out I was previously there and managed one of the teams they wanted to place me in they were shocked —review the LinkedIn profile folks if you are going to reach out to someone, do your job.

If that team is responsible for bringing talent into the organization and getting the onboarded effectively good luck. Unless they can throw money at folks the impression you are going to get when going here will shock you.

Its not the money to operate, but wft doesn't have the ball$ to make decisions and be successful. Look how many levels of approvals we have, no one is accountable, so nothing ever gets accomplished. We could be great, but no one will make the real and hard decisions that need to be made. Its simple, generate revenue and keep it going! The HR folks are leaving because they know we have to make money to be successful, they got out while they could. It must be hard to sit through a RIF on some field person that gave everything without support from the multi-levels of "support" staff the transformation people have hired.

They were already spread too thin to be effective much like has happened with IT. Weatherford simply doesn't have the money to operate like a real company.

The HR team has gone downhill since they hired the Baker clique months ago. Changes are supposed to be progressive, however this is the opposite.

True, look around at your managers and ask yourself, honestly would any of them get a job anywhere other than Weatherford? a few maybe but 90% no way Jose.

Look at the leaders...they are awful but pretend to be great...the good in that department are mostly gone already. Those few that are left should be looking.
