Thread regarding CVS layoffs

CVS Customer Satisfaction Below Rite Aid?

Seriously? After all of the talk about myCustomer Experience, The GOT model in response to for being the bottom result out of the big three for years, and now the myCustomer Connection, we still stink.

Much like a neutered dog they don’t get it. Its because we have NO colleagues in our stores. For a company who preaches for us to “connect the dots” they sure keep skipping the most obvious one on the page.

Massive workload and no staff. People are stressed. CVS operations are a mix of old school thinking and new school staffing. CEO is living in the past! Nothing changes one way or another

Well that and their stock being worth a nickel might have something to do with it.

I will certainly agree with the comment on the Rite Aid stores. Have never seen a non-friendly, or a non-clean Rite Aid store, and I have traveled across this country. Maybe, this might be the reason that Jeff Bezos is considering the purchase.

If they would join the other 200 companies that claim to work for their colleagues and customers and not the shareholders they my change this thought process. We need a CEO change soon. I hope LM retires or gets booted. Not sure how we would fair with KH as he was probably part of why Macy’s is in the mess they are in, but know he is more “FS friendly”

The previous poster is right... but corporate will NEVER get over the idea that payroll = expense. Walmart, Walgreens, etc., etc... all big chain retailers are the same way, that payroll is an expense that needs to be cut down as much as humanly possible, to improve the bottom line. Yes more people would mean better scores, but corporate will never see it that way.

You can never give good service without employees to give it. (Payroll is a big issue)

Of course. Most Rite Aid stores are clean and friendly, neither of which I see in the 40
Or so CVS’s I’ve been in around my area.
