I asked myself this question 12 years ago and I really need to ask it again. Other than decent factory works, this place is a real toilet. Management doesn’t have a clue, they are more like overlourdes rather then people who know how to treat and manage people. Maybe it is best that they are driving this company into the ground

True
The Woburn site is the emotional anchor for SWKS, though it’s small and in a congested location. Their purchase of Conexant was driven from this location and the leadership lives locally. I don’t see this site going anywhere fast. I also wouldn’t consider Skyworks Leadership small minded. They were once a $65 million /yr revenue company. Small mindedness is clearly out there but not at SWKS.
The latest news is they have one last chance to stsy in business here, so get ready for the next layoffin October. Not sure why they believe that layoffs are the answer. Better companies do everything to prevent layoffs. Oh well so much for small minded management.
I heard that the next round would have to cut deep if they have any chance of staying open in 2020.
This is so true thanks for your honesty
