Do you still get points if you call in around a key date even if you have enough ppto to cover it??

Easy fix. DONT CALL OFF.
I bet they change it after the holidays too.
It'll be because of me and I don't care because it's my last holiday season there.
Ok
Let's clear this up
YOU DO NOT get double points
YOU DO NOT have to use double Ppto
It's on wire
If they tell you otherwise
They are scare tactics
But
I bet they change the rules after the holidays
If your a managers favorite don't worry about it they will approve it and 0 points against you
If you use PPTO for a key date (only what you are scheduled) - you receive zero points. Watch the CBL again. Attendance Reinvention.
Even though I had put in a vacation request months earlier and I called in I received the max. That is why I no longer work for the Waltons
If you call out on a key date and use pto you still receive 1 point for missing the key date. If you don't use pto but call out you receive 2 points, and if you no call no show and don't use pto you receive 3 points. There is a cbl on this topic that you can find under glms.
Wrong about having to have double ppto on key event days. Doesn’t matter if it’s a regular day or key event day, as long as you have enough ppto to cover your whole shift, you won’t get any points. If any manager tells otherwise, they are lying to you so you don’t call off.
So someone told me if you call in on key dates you have to have double Protected PTO HRs to cover it . 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
For example you call in on a key day that you are scheduled 8HRS — it was told that you have to have 16 Protected PTO Hrs to cover it because it is double points . Seems crazy to me — but that is what was said . 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Yes, when you go into GTA, it lists the key dates. You get double the points on key dates; PPTO or not.
