Safe GE Pensions

The understanding is that our pension, because of the way it is set up, is guarantied by the Fed up to $5K a month. That being said, if they file chapter 11, they can reduce our amount, and the amount of the reduction will be just gone.

The Fed already made GE pay back $500 million to the fund, so they are on it. Nobody wants this to be another Enron. I think the SEC investigation will dovetail into the ongoing investigation of the Clinton Foundation, that Immelt was so fond of giving to, probably find out out how many of the pension fund dollars went to the globalist agenda and not buying back stock.

The Fed wanted GE emails about 6 years ago involving Immelt and The Clinton's, and since Immelt was the Job Czar, they told the Fed no, and got away with it. Find the emails. If $45 billion amount of stock was bought back, it would have boosted the stock unto Boeing levels.

Follow the money and start hanging these people. I hold every business leader and board member to account for this, they knew of it and did nothing.

Anyone worried with regards to your pensions, please go out to PBGC.com (Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp). This is a gov’t agency that was set up in 1974, to protect your Pensions. Each and every year companies, (like GE or AT&T and the like) must fund a certain percentage into the agency....it’s your protection should your, or any company, declare bankruptcy.

The payout table you will see, acts very much like Social Security....the age you retire against the year. Except for the especially well overpaid, most pensions are probably covered in full but the chart, on that site, will give you knowledge.

Full disclosure, I wandered over from the AT&T layoff board when I saw an article on a Pension freeze.
Though that has not happened to us yet, we do go through ‘some’ of the same anguish as you....the Corp is downsizing, and severance pkgs are now bypassed when we are being Outsourced into two or three other companies.
Employees are being herded into "Collaboration Zones" as smaller properties are sold off and causing extreme overcrowding....the company hopes employees will simply leave on their own, and take their Pensions with them, it costs them to manage them!

Until now I did not realize GE supplied a major portion of parts to the existing 737 Max, sorry for the pain that has caused. We share a similar protest of upper management....take a walk over to our board to see similarities and differences....and I wish you all the best, job security is not easy to come by.

"they can reduce our amount, and the amount of the reduction will be just gone."

Fake news. This troll needs to wait about a half year to bait the newbies. You got impatient.
