Mechanical and transportation will eventually be merged. All mechanical management will eventually be axed unless they are folded in under the transportation umbrella. Be governed accordingly!

Where have you been? Under a rock? Mechanical and transportation merged over a year ago and formed operations.
That would be great. We could derail cars so we had things to fix. It will never happen! I will say this Carmen are on the way out
merging with transportation? that would be good for mechanical in a way. the crybabies in transportation ALWAYS get what they want, so now mechanical can get in on the benefits too!
This is true. They have told us in the shop, that we are basically under transportation now and those supervisors can come in the shop and will.
Ask your supervisor currently if they are actually paid under an “operations” budget. Notice how they’ve changed trainmaster to operations manager? Anyone notice that a “utility carman” position has been negotiated? You guys better wake up and start seeing the big picture of what’s coming.
