Harris directed org changes coming next week in many departments, mostly just realignments. There will likely be some VP and director retirements, likely no impacts to individual contributors except for who your upstream is.

What used to be CSW which is now Broadband Communications can't figure out who to put in charge with so many people leaving on their own will.
CSW will announce org changes tomorrow with some unfilled positions. Many fearing who could be placed in charge. Could quite possibly bring the rise of an Empire ever more oppressive, and only appreciative to their people during the semiannual dog & pony show (if that). Hope higher ups take a good look at candidates based off employee retention and satisfaction, and how it will influence the business in the long term.
Any news on CSW? Rumors have floated of a particular purchase but no real evidence. A lot of movement and things that don't quite add up. Gumbles heard throughout the day, but no talk here?
They have 0 value when half their time is spent talking and acting busy.
Sounds like management material to me.
The layoffs should occur. Half of the old people at CSW can barely operate outlook properly. Get these dinosaurs that make 60 an hour out! They have 0 value when half their time is spent talking and acting busy.
SLC CSW wanted to shut down their Melbourne facility prior to the merger announcement and then when the merger was announced Harris jumped upon the opportunity to take over the facility across the street from corporate headquarters. Most L3 CSW employees we're given the option to take a new position at legacy Harris facilities in the Melbourne area or resign. Easy way for the corporation to avoid a layoff. While the former L3 facility is being remodeled to accommodate legacy and upcoming Harris programs, CSW in Salt Lake may be facing grimmer prospects as the corporation moves to consolidate similar business units and eliminate overhead costs.
Two months ago, rumors of layoffs which never occurred. Now rumors of a reorg that has yet to take place.
Half the company needs to retire.
Upstream, downstream, all around the town.
