Oh, well our GVP & RM don't even bother to communicate or answer emails. We're basically ignored.
I wonder if our store is on their map?

My GVP and RM have no idea what this means. It’s all about them and covering their butts and blaming everyone else below them. They’ve provided no leadership or meaningful communication, just emails telling us where we aren’t meeting their expectations and we need to cut more labor even though I need more help to get anything done.

Nobody has a future here. Again and again follett has demonstrated it will fire, or drive out the people with meaningful experience. Over 50, more than 10 years in with the company, your number will be pulled sooner than you think. This is what follett is.

People seem to be more engaged when they feel like they have a future with the company they work for. We do a very poor job developing people for the next level.

Jack did a poor job grooming a successor. GE has struggled and stumbled since he left it. Nice words, hard to do. .
That being said, follett lacks quality at the highest level. That's been clear for 6+years.

Said to say, by this definition, this company has no leaders. It’s all about growing themselves. Another sign of a failing company. Circle the wagons - we look out for our own.
