More call centers will be closing. Heard from a very reliable source.

Is Irvine California safe?
Seems true..my center is constantly having system issues every day all day. Computers crash. Use to happen once in a while, now it is an everyday occurrence. If Verizon intended on keeping the call centers these system issues would not be happening all the time. Can not run a productive call center like this.
Good!!
You would have to be a fool not to think they will close more centers. They are an unnecessary expense to the business. The cost alone to operate the centers is huge plus with the high turn over rates, constant system issues, and centers that don't have telesales. Why do you think their is such a push for self serve? If they can get 80% or more of the calls through self serve, do you really think Verizon is going to keep you around?! Open your eyes people, believe it don't believe it. Verizon is a all about making money and they need to cut 6 billion by 2021 where do you think its going to come from?
Please stop fear mongering.
Would anyone really be surprised if more call centers closed? Reps operating out of home is the future where they work in isolation and Verizon gets to have the upper hand with regards to RIF's and keeping employees from organizing because they are seperated from each other.
You're just making this up. Trying to stir up trouble or you would name the centers that are closing. You've brought this up before and nothing ever happens.
Hopefully Hilliard is among them. Should have taken the VSP last year. I would love to see CS reps sh– their pants when they end up having to take on CORe responsibilities with no extra pay.
If its true ...name them! Or stop messing with people.
Anyone know what locations?
