All layoffs are complete. UP will start moving on and trying to motivate those that are left. As time goes on, furloughed employees will be called back as needed. No worries.

Ok I'll humor this for a bit. So the layoffs are over, then why are there still people posting about being furloughed? The layoffs will NEVER be over. I'm sorry but for someone to post something like this either has no f—ing clue about what's going on, is an executive member in Omaha, a manager, or all of the above. Does anyone else think this post was made up to try to quell the negativity towards the UP? Is it maybe that all this negative feedback is having an effect. Is the original poster Fritz himself, or someone else from his executive team? Nice try a–hole. I don't care who posts what. There isn't a single damn title out there that's going to change people's feeling about the UP. If this is Fritz himself(unlikely, but possible)then you can stick all this negative feedback up your a55 sideways and sit on it. The only thing I'd like to see is the entire glass palace get walked off of the property. I would make the 15 hour drive to see that. I really would.
I'm on the inside. I promise you it's nowhere near over. More details to come.
We still need to hit north platte again.
Still have to get through 2019 and survive "Unified 2020" next year. Union Pacific isn't hiding the fact of their goals for 2020.
Personally, I would update my resume and brush up skills and go elsewhere. Why do you want to work for a company that is so blatant to its treatment of its employees. Stupid is as stupid does. Insanity is repeating the same thing over again.
I’ve been motivated to dust off my resume. This S—t show is just the motivation I needed to start actively searching for employment elsewhere.
Even if this weren’t fake news, good luck motivating anyone at UP to do anything but quit .
OP: this is contrary to every public statement made by UP management since last October.
I feel better now, thank you.
