My boss always says we have no money so we never do anything. The last time they got me a jacket and a laptop bag, big whoop.
These “team building” events do nothing but promote promiscuity and alcoholism! Our DM suffers from both! After a broken marriage (not surprising since every weekender he slept with the latest RMS), it still continues! You’d think they would wake up! Most of the time people never even go anymore and we think he just pockets the money? Never been a part of a more pathetic organization! Go to work and go home! No more passion for driving sales....just routine go to work and go home...till it ends!!!
It’s really a joke. All they do is liquor everyone up. Our boss took half the team to Las Vegas a few years back and spent $8k in three days, with 8 people! Bar bill was most of it! Funny thing was they went in the middle of the week, a weekender in the middle of the week. Only half the team could go and they had to work, rest got the whole week off. And they think nothing is wrong with this.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣! Nice team building Mondelez!
No one wants to participate in these anymore. All our team ever does is go to baseball games and stay at the same hotel. Same thing for the last 10 years. Just give us the money. We are all so ready for this all to be over.
They are having these because again, trying to keep things status quo till it’s over. How would you feel if they said “no weekend” even if your team earned it! Would not make you want to work very hard, huh?
I'm going to try and drink 100 beers at our weekender this year.
Why have a team weekend event if they're letting everyone go?!?!?!?!
This company makes no sense!
Dunno what you're doing, but I typically enjoy mine. Most of my fellow reps, SSRs, and full timers are pretty cool. We only have to deal with the higher ups for dinner for the most part, then we do our own thing after.
