An email went out this afternoon to all Schwab employees announcing the layoffs. The total number is expected to be roughly 600 employees across all locations and levels and the plan is to notify those affected by layoffs by next week.
WSJ has an anonymous tip line. They recommend downloading an app called signal which is encrypted end to end communication. I informed them about this yesterday but they want others to confirm.
