So we are being told there are 2 different department supervisors... the ones that do everything including running the whole store and the ones who mainly have no responsibility at all! They also get to pretty much open all the time Along with the store manager and asms ..as we other department supervisors get to close all the time with running the whole store most of the time! So we never get to work in r areas really much at all! Just wondering how other stores r handling it and if any store splits there department supervisors?

I never understood the 10 to 2 power hours. The majority of America works Monday through Friday some version of nine to five. There are exceptions in certain areas but I still can't believe but there was that many people go between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. . You would think it would best be served between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m or 5 to 9
At my store all of the managers and supervisors are hard to find. Frequently we only know who is on when they let us out the door st the end of the night.
Previous sales and service managers (junior ASMs) retained their keys and alarm codes. Newly hired dept supervisors tend to have less expected of them.
We have two new dept supervisors; one earns her pay while the other walks away from customers and is making no attempt to learn her departments.
Remember 10 to 2 is power our light tasking only if you see management doing work list or anything big call them out this isn't s.m.a.r.t this is what corporate wants us to do.if you have more than one customer in your department Call for manager assistance.it's about time we as associates use the tools corporate says is there!!! no exceptions
