Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

The HCL rebadge strategy (who was rebadged & who remained)

Anyone have a clue what the rebadge yo HCL strategy was in regards to who moved over and who remained XRX?

I know a team of four, all do the same roles but only 2 of 4 were rebadged.

Same story in my team. Team of 5 only 2 rebadged including me (and that is why I quit and gave notice last Friday :)

Rebadged folks are those who will train HCL to replace themselves. Non-rebadged folks will be layed off. Rebadged folks will last until the offshore HCL person takes their job, unless local presence is mandatory.

Just an opinion based on what I’ve seen done prior

Logic? LOL. Admin location, 90% rebadged on 4/1...10% stayed Xerox. Those of us rebadged are anxiously awaiting our 60 day notice.

I think each core was given a set number of people or a budget to cut, at my core all admin but 2 got badged but HCL is learning the jobs of those not badged, so honestly, who knows???
