Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

Seems like a big announcement is imminent

Be ready first week of August. All signs are pointing to it. (NOC moving overseas, no contract for FL, new vendors in Mexico, no questions allowed on Aug 6th earnings call, new board members brought in, call center reps taking few or no calls, upper mgmt leaving CT)

Hey Longhorn, They're just getting the customers back that they already lost. They should have already had them. They had to give away service for nothing almost to get them back. The customers are going to get really p-ss-d when they realize nothing's changed and they'll leave again and never come back.lol

With all this personnel coming to Tampa Fl, it could be a good thing as they ramp up selling 1 gig service in the area, pushing to install and turn-up in CO's by 4th quarter start Sept.1st,
Or, they are running like rats from CT to the sunny skies of Fl before you know what hits fan, so they still have a seat on the Frontier bus
Either way,it appears Fl is making money and headway, albeit Slowly
We can only Hope

TDM Teir 2 only
Received a company bulletin today with new practice starting AUG 1
Same procedure,w/w NOC and they will hand you off to tier 2
Also THE- "rumor"- is Tier 2 being offshored to Phillipines with Nokia which will make things interesting depending on how heavy their accent might be

EMP-MEXICO CTY started showing up in sales reports in July. Google “Emperion Mexico City”. You will find they just opened a new call center there in April.

I dont personally put much weight in the non-renewal of the FL contract. Our contract expires everytime before they even start negotiating.
