Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Saturday and Sunday!!

How odd some people refused to work the weekends but yet get their 40 hrs. Monday -Friday. Hmmm how's does that work?

Wow, yeah, why are some people still getting a set schedule? Every weekend off or work when they want to it's so unfair to us that need certain hours also what can I do

You can put in for a religious objection to working on Sundays or say that you go to church to which they can schedule you up to one hour before and two hours after services. Be aware that if you do this, they can give you Sunday off in addition to your two regular days off thus dropping you below the minimum hours required for full time, when this happens over a twelve week period you are changed to part time and guaranteed zero hours. Then, my friend, unless you really don't need to work, you are not bringing home enough money to pay the bills, you have to find a new job, and they got rid of you by your own accord.

Some were told they could not get two days off in a row. Then there goes "Karen" with Friday and Saturday off. Or Sunday and Monday...
