Synopsys lays off many dedicated employees who worked there for over 10+ years. Telling workers their job roles have been eliminated, but hiring younger employees for less under a different title name with the same responsibilities.
Any company claiming to have a culture based on respect and integrity, while laying off dedicated employees in the midst of a Pandemic - despite increases in revenue and profits - tells you all you need to know if you're considering working there! soulless and heartless!
training you in applications and layoffing off also benefits synopsys. Another looser in market who understands the tool. When he or she joins intel or qualocmm they will promote synopsys environment ! WIn - Win Only id–ts join Synopsys in USA
Now just a financial scam - stock buybacks, new company purchases to shift the books, bell curve layoff's - both high end (ie experienced / ie expensive) and low end, Walking the halls - nobody wants to work here. Art D. liar, Chi Foon - financĂ© scam - these guys are wanna-be lawyers. Unfortunately the rot rolls down hill in management. You will always see some s—er come from outside only to disappear 1-2 years later, after earnings report. Disaster waiting to happen on stock side - race to cash out before truth is known publicly.
Race to the bottom, as the company is choosing to improve ops margins by headcount reduction. One of the best places to work, has turned into one of the worst. :(
Very sad to see.
Dont ever come to EDA if you are in SW.
Other note, heard few people were let go in R &D. Mostly IC and engineers, poor souls. Synopsys should cut down on middle level managers.
The place is a mess I interviewed in their San Francisco office and the place was nearly empty the Software Integrity Group was there and they're struggling to make it work. Not a good place to work.
Is this in DG?
