Dead Weight

If dead weight was laid off previously, who will get laid off this time?

They need to fire about 300 people. We are too fat at SWN and need to trim the fat. Start w most of the managers and promote younger staff. Lose the big salaries, most of which really aren’t justified for what they bring as managers to the table.

One of the 200-300 would be IT man who does little other than talk about others and brag on himself. Yes yes yes we’ve heard your resume and all your “projects”. Mr. Millennial Wannabe wants to spread lies and rumors that undermine people. For those of us still dedicated to Doing the Right Thing, it’s time for these clowns to go.

Compared to other pure play competitors like COG or Antero we are over staffed by 200-300 employees.

Keep the millennials. Out with the rest. We’re a company of the future.

Completely agree on companies hiding it and garbage management teams. In any industry, when you see executive compensation rising rapidly while share prices are getting k–led you should run away as an investor (or employee). This is also why we’re seeing less consolidation then we should, why should I sell when I’m riding the gravy train even if my shareholders are getting k–led?

@10jZCYXM-3sws There have been many tests that prove a man is 98.7% more likely to not be laid off if he is wearing a Patagonia sweater

The only way to avoid a layoff from SWN is to look like a CNN journalist.

Layoff townhall to be announced!

by
|
Post ID: @10jZCYXM-2hyz

The town hall is to assure us there will not be layoffs (i.e. “will never happen again”), and to squash these silly rumors in this site. It’s time to laser focus and find your way to add value to R3 (reposition, re-engineer, and re-plunge that Way breakfast egg frittata)

The lay-off rumors are not true. The Way toilet room behaviors are true, unfortunately.

Has anyone else besides me heard that a townhall meeting will be held to discuss layoffs? Is this true??

This time next week people will begin their next chapter or retired. Sad. Still a great company but hey I will still be employed there growing my career and fattening my bank account!!

Good luck to all those who are laid off!! Nice knowing ya!!

There isn't anything other than dead weight at SWN. I wouldn't qualify anybody sitting around waiting for the inevitable sinking of the SWN ship as a "go-getter". It's been that way for a few years now.

Layoffs are on schedule. Only retired energy execs or self employed need not worry.

There’s still dead weight. I’m amazed some are still here. Maybe it’s just talking a good game that helps those.
