Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Hold the Oreos hostage

Dirk should challenge Walmart. If they keep us locked out then he should stop all deliveries and deny product until it opens back up. You can’t end us in dsd if our ceo puts his foot DOWN. Walmart will not let NABISCO leave their stores entirely, trust ME!!!! Let’s just put these Oreos on strike and then let’s see how quick it opens back up !!! 2 weeks tops. And when I say ALL our products I mean all of them!!! Not just our dsd items

Mondelez needs Walmart so much more than Walmart needs Mondelez. DSD is the old standard - warehousing, shipping & technology has improved through the years. Retailers are looking for better profit margins (Ex. Nestle, Kellogg).

Mondelez and wal mart are partners, the plan just doesn’t include Dsd! Both will make the most sense and the money! Not hard to figure out.

Walmart losing Nabisco brands ?! YES that would 100% effect their business and they would never allow it. If Dirk geared up his negotiation skills the orders would open back up. Oreos, chips ahoy, nutter butter, Newton’s, Lorna, pinwheels, mallomars, nillas, graham crackers, teddy grahams, belvita, Lu, Tates, Biscos, choc wafers, ginger snaps, Barnums, all of our lunchbox items, ritz, premiums, triscuits, chicken in a biscuit, cheez nips, good thins, stoned wheat, toasted chips, easy cheese, Cadbury, sour patch kids, trident, halls, every cereal with our brand, every candy bar with our brand, pie crusts, comet cones, and more. We dominate junk food. Americans can’t live without junk food. And everyone saying this generation is going towards healthy living, that’s usually not the case with the type of people who shop at Walmart. I’m sure 98% of the U.S buy some type of Nabisco product on the regular. Even the id–ts who approach me saying they’ll never buy our products again because we moved to Mexico they turn around and unknowingly reach for another one of our products and throw it in their cart. Hahaha id–ts

We take up almost an entire aisle of cookies and snacks plus numerous other items in the store. Yes I think it would hurt Wal-Mart a lot to lose us

That's so funny. Walmart will have those shelves filled with Sam's Choice knock offs and discount them like crazy. You think people will quit going to Walmart because of they could not get a cookie or pizza brand. Not a chance. It's over, time to move on

That would most definitely restore our faith that our company is in fact truly dedicated to dsd
