According to Marvin Ellison Store Managers and ASM"s will be on the floor during Power Hours, maybe it would do you good to make a surprise visit to store 728.

They laid our full-time FSA off yesterday in our store in Oklahoma city area. Outsourced his cleaning duties a company who came today and spent 30-min allegedly cleaning. now other employees have to clean the break room.

You obviously need a store manager and a few asms . you need a few lower management jobs to help them out but not as many as we have now. When you get a management position you get lazy and think your days of physical work or helping the customer is over or cut down. Should not be the case. Make them earn there salaries and pay raises.

I agree too much money is tied up in managers sitting in a chair not walking the floor. They need to cut higher and lower end management positions. And get back to the basics of customer service.

Agreed!

We have three managers that sit all day in the former installed sales office. They sure manage those papers well. We can’t even get them to come out for an override, code 3, or to talk to a customer.

We need less managers and more associates on the floor.

lowes has too many "managers" . That is where a lot of money is being wasted on. Full time and part time floor associates is where that money should be going to. Let the store manager and asm earn there salary.
