It's all fine and dandy to tell us layoffs are coming, but is there any way to provide more info on it? Mostly, when?

Thank you! Wishing you (and everyone for that matter) the best of luck! I will be fine with whatever they decide to do with me and my position I just truly hope the spare as many hard working people as they can. So many are walking around on eggshells since they can not afford to be without a job :( The extra stress of simply not knowing isn't helping those people either making it hard for them to focus on just doing their job right now. I surely don't blame then! It just s—s because the there's so much to do to get worried and morale isn't great. Oh well we shall see what this week brings (fingers crossed)
(Reply to last post) Didn’t get any specifics on which departments are delayed, however I like you have my executive manager coming down this week. Wishing you a good outcome which ever week it turns out to be, as I agree with you this is and continues to be exhausting.
(Reply to the last post:) Do you know which departments they are anticipating next week? I had heard multiple resources (from a variety of teams within my department) keep saying it was supposed to come by the end of the week (as in last week). When it didn't arrive by the end of the day we started to hear through the rumor mill it's being delayed until Sept.
But like you said, it's so hard to say since everything is "hear say" at this point.
Although my direct executive manager IS making a visit this coming week so maybe that's a sign the 3rd (full) week will be the week we hear more. I'm exhausted from their mind games though! Let's get it done and over with already!
The Third full week in August ( week of 19th) is what we were told. Now another post is saying it may have been delayed until September, I have heard a few departments might be delayed until then however not all but who really knows . I am so frustrated at this point I don’t think the stress it worth waiting to find out anymore. On to better opportunities is what I say.
A lot of us were under the impression it was to come this week.,however the 3rd week is now done and over. I have even heard talks of it now not being until sometime until September when they make the next "cascade"/ org structure. Really? Let's get this over with so those who are not " high producing client facing" (aka people top earners in the Wealth dept.) that will not be "continuing their journey" at Truist can find new job before Christmas! Seeing how it's "Happiness Month" maybe that's why there's talks of it not being until September now haha.
My understanding is the next round ( who knows if it’s this last one or not ) will be announced the third week of August. Good luck to all of us!
Or any other additional info, for that matter.
