I retired from Walgreens with my 25 yrs about 4 yrs ago.
When I left it was not the same Walgreens like it was when I first started. We used to have great benefits, Christmas a bonus, several things to make it a great company to work for.
Then came Boots.
Everything changed. Walgreens was no longer a “family” store. Charles R Walgreens would be so sad to see what his dream has become. I am very proud of my 25yrs but am so glad to be retired.
