Then what do we do if after all that the customer still says no? We have been told by our SM, that if the customer says no, don’t push it. However our manager also said that the DL isn’t happy because we’re not getting enough sign ups for this. And if we don’t get enough sign ups, our SM will get written up. So how do we get around a “no”?
Dude. It’s one or two a day. Are you serious telling us your are that bad of a salesperson that you can’t sell one or two of these between FS and RX in the hours you are open. No wonder we are doomed. We have sales people who can’t sell an instant $10 coupon and the first month free. If you can’t sell that offer to at least one person you need to find a new line of work.

Ask then if they want to buy something really S-T-U-P-I-D. That really does nothing for them. Its another dumb idea that no one wants and get everyone yelled at. CVS is dying. Retail is dying. Too many players.
Clerks get 3 dollars for each one sold ,why buy them lunch or gift cards.
The problem lies in the fact that some people just don’t want it. But corporate won’t take no for an answer. My idea though would be for you to just be honest with people, don’t try to sell them the standard company line. People know when there being given the standard corporate answer. So try to sell it without sounding “corporate-ty”
STart small - tell clerks if they sell one you'll buy them lunch - then fist one to five gets Gift card . Your couponers are best - and you need 1 good Rx person that knows a lot of the customers - pushing this
Believe it or not lots of our Rx customers come cause they really love our techs and pharmacist. If my tech tried to sell dog p–p they would buy from her .
