WU is a crashing airplane and upper management is trying to fix it with expensive silly tools to "enhance the customer experience" WU lacks innovation and experience. WU does an amazing job getting its employees to drink the "Kool-aid" of great benefits with an underwhelming pay grade. I been with this company for well over 7 years and dodged 3 Ops budget cuts. Get out early as you can to obtain the salary you deserve elsewhere.

Agree with the “plane crashing” comment. If you got laid off, take the package and run! Leadership at WU is delusional. Once key people leave IT, NOTHING will get deployed with any kind of quality, if it can out the deployed at all without crashing the core systems.
I would like the say that the company has been more than generous with the layoff notice and severance package. No other company would notify with at least a 3 month advance plus a severance. There are no jobs for life anymore and we have to re-invent ourselves, become obsolete or live in the wild if we do not want to adapt to change. As for me, I am willing to see the positive and thank WU for their thoughtfulness in giving the employees advance notice. Its the nature of the business and its not personal. I will miss the great benefits of which I did not avail myself but oh well.
